Tricia McCarthy

Tricia McCarthy first became involved with NH Space Grant in the mid-1990s when she worked as a research technician in the Forest Watch Program. She did lab analyses and helped with teacher workshops and training. That inspired her to pursue a teaching career.
She earned a Masters in Education degree from University of Southern Maine and taught elementary and middle school in Kittery, Maine, for 8 years.
Tricia is now back at school pursuing an interest in ecosystem research and outreach, with help from her NASA Space Grant.
Her goal: a career in environmental science research and outreach at a non-profit organization or university.
