NH Community Technical College System
Space Grant supports recruitment and scholarship support for New Hampshire Community Technical College System (NHCTCS) students studying fields relevant to NASA. Emphasis is placed on women and other groups underrepresented in these fields. NASA support is used to launch a challenge grant campaign to increase program resources.
New Hampshire Space Grant funds are used to leverage matching funds from industry and private sources through a matching grants campaign. Scholarships are used to encourage enrollment and to enhance success and retention of disadvantaged and underrepresented groups. Public Service of New Hamsphire has made a $60,000 3-year commitment to provide matching funds.
Career awareness and outreach programs are focused on attracting high school graudates with interest in science, math, and technology programs, with a emphasis on recruiting underrepresented students and women.
